Under Which Platform Can The Gospel Thrive?
It is Election Day here in the United States. I have talked enough about the two candidates. We know neither of them are Christian. Neither of them are of good character. So we look to policies.
What each Christian must honestly ask themselves, which platform is more conducive to the Gospel? Which platform will hinder the Gospel? Which platform more closely represents biblical principles?
Now, I did not say which platform is Christian. Neither platform is Christian. But which platform will we have better opportunities to advance the name of Jesus Christ?
That is what is at stake in this election. That is what we must vote on. We are not voting on character or personality. We are voting on principles. We are voting on platforms.
We must be pro-life. We must be pro-family, biblical family, not LGBT. We must be for religious freedom. We must be for freedom of speech. We must be for law and order. We must be for sound economics and living within our means.
Now, neither platform does all of those things perfectly. But the two platforms are not the same.
So go vote today. And Christians cannot those who celebrate the murder of babies and the destruction of families. Vote for the best possible scenario for the Gospel.
